Characterization of Formaldehyde Emission and Combustion Properties of Peanut (Arachis Hypogaea) Husk-Based Green Composite Panels for Building Applications

نویسندگان

چکیده

The building sectors are increasingly in need of more wood-based panels. Forests and environments being destroyed to produce these aim this study is protect forest assets by recycling peanut (Arachis hypogaea) husk manufacturing particleboard for green design. manufactured composite panels were subjected combustion formaldehyde tests. According the test results, reduced time increased temperature. Phenol-formaldehyde adhesive decreased illuminance values ratio values. It was understood that, when additive increased, times decreased. Slow-combustion delays danger collapse case a fire building. performance can be improved adding non-combustible materials that do not affect adhesion When type taken into consideration, it seen FF reduces time. emission 24 hours after process all met requirements board class E1. These used buildings as sustainable material. furniture industry also use agro-fiber materials.

The Proteins of the Peanut, Arachis Hypogaea.

The ravages of the boll weevil have made it unprofitable to grow cotton in various sections throughout the South. In many regions where the growing of cotton has been decreased, peanuts are now being grown as a supplementary crop. This has caused a large increase in the production of peanuts in the United States. A number of mills which in the past produced cottonseed oil are now using their pr...

Purification and Characterization of Two Acid Phosphatases from Germinating Peanut (Arachis hypogaea) Seed

The maximum acid phosphatasic activity was detected in peanut seed at the 5th day of germination. At least, two acid phosphatases were purified by successive chromatography separations on DEAE-Sepharose CL-6B, CM-Sepharose CL-6B, Sephacryl S-100 HR, and Phenyl-Sepharose HP to apparent homogeneity from five days old cotyledon of peanut after germination. These isoenzymes, designated peanut cotyl...

The hydrophobic character of peanut (Arachis hypogaea) isoagglutinins.

Peanut seed lectin (PNA) is widely used to identify tumor-specific antigens on the eukaryotic cell surface. In this work PNA was purified by affinity chromatography, using a column containing glutaraldehyde-treated human erythrocytes, whereas PNA isoforms were purified by hydrophobic interaction chromatography using Phenyl-Sepharose. The affinity-purified PNA and its isoforms consist of four eq...

Role of carbohydrate moieties in peanut (Arachis hypogaea) peroxidases.

The activities of a cationic (C.PRX) and an anionic peroxidase isolated from peanut (Arachis hypogaea)-cell suspension culture were drastically reduced when they were deglycosylated with glycopeptidase F or oxidized by 10 mM-periodate. In contrast with the controls, the deglycosylated or the oxidized peroxidases were much more susceptible to proteolytic degradation. In radiolabelling experiment...
